Negativity…. Are You Allowing Too Much In?
Negativity is something that most people don’t want to talk about but there are always so many questions surrounding the topic of “negative energy”. Often times, people don’t even realize that their life is being affected by negative energy until the level of negativity has gotten so strong that they are overwhelmed, feeling desperate and in crisis mode. This can be because negativity creeps in slowly over time, but the buildup of that negativity grows and multiplies daily. It’s rare for it to consume your life and take it over quickly, although it is possible based on each person’s specific circumstances. The best plan is to stop negativity in its tracks before ever getting to the point of needing to a deep cleanse, an aura sweep, psychic surgery or some cord cutting to rid your life of darkness.
How does negativity sneak in? Negativity sneaks in by infiltrating everyday activities. It can come through television shows that you watch, music that you listen to, movies, books, newspapers, facebook, etc… Most times, you are not aware of it but once it starts coming through it will slowly build and start to “zap” you of your energy. You begin to feel tired all of the time, you might start having problems sleeping through the night or you might experience restlessness and disrupted sleep patterns. Because you are more tired than usual you may also start to eat more convenient fatty foods that hold lower vibrations. You then start to attract other people that hold lower vibrations and/or your relationships with people at a high vibration might start to suffer. Depression often sets in and from there it is a tough thing to control.
There are many things that you can do to keep negativity out of your everyday life. Here are a few suggestions:
- Keep your home and work environment clean; negativity attaches to clutter so don’t give it places to attach to.
- Pay attention and do not entertain anything that is negative.
- Notice what is you choose to watch on your television, computer, phone, radio etc. Believe it or not, television shows, movies, music, chatrooms etc, all carry a specific vibration. Is it high, positive and loving or is it low and dark? Only allow yourself to watch things with positive vibrations.
- Trust your intuition, if something instantly makes you feel bad, overwhelmed or depleted, it is most likely something with a lower vibration.
- Use Reiki to routinely cleanse your home at least once a month. I always suggest doing it the first week of the month. This welcomes in the new month with a fresh start as well.
- Surround yourself with Reiki. Think of it as a white light that nothing dark can penetrate. Visualize a white light surrounding you. Say something like “I surround myself in the white light of god’s love and Divine protection.” Pick something that matches your own personal beliefs. Make one large Master or Power Symbol over this white bubble. Do this every morning or at night when you are going to bed.
- Utilize Reiki by sending it to your food, your animals, your plants and yourself.
- Keep in contact with like-minded people who can lift you up on a bad day and raise your vibration.
- Be confident and know that white light is power, there is no place for fear.
