It’s Pumpkin Time
There’s something about fall that automatically invokes a yearning for that wonderful pumpkin taste. As my tastebuds start ramping up for all the delicious options available in fall, I find that for me, it all starts with the release of Pumpkin Spice donuts at Krispy Kreme and then slowly the stores and coffee houses bring out their array of pumpkin flavored items.
At that time, I begin my annual quest for pumpkin related food which usually starts at Trader Joes. They never disappoint when it comes to everything pumpkin. Their wide array of pumpkin related foods at this time of year is better than any other place in my area. I was able to get spaghetti sauce with pumpkin, some delicious pumpkin bread along with some pumpkin scones. I then found some pumpkin pasta which are shaped into little pumpkins which I thought would be delicious with my pumpkin sauce, I can’t wait to try those tomorrow. I rounded out my shopping experience with some pumpkin coffee creamer and a nice big pumpkin for my front porch. All in all, a very successful shopping experience.

I really had a craving for a pumpkin pie but I made myself put it back because I like to reserve that special treat for my personal Thanksgiving ritual, so I will just have to be patient and wait a few more weeks before I can enjoy that sweet treat.
