Avoiding Uncomfortable Situations
Are you one of those people who would rather eat nails than confront a situation? Many people sadly avoid uncomfortable situations to the detriment of themselves. Why is it that we can be so narrow minded or short sighted? I know for myself personally, it took me over 50 years to finally figure it out and vote for myself instead of “accepting” things as they were. The universe was talking to me for many years but I was unwilling to listen so it continued to get louder and louder until I was forced to take action and look at the situations that came up.
Sometimes it comes as a subtle nudge but often when we don’t listen, the loudness of the situation then becomes more dire in nature and sometimes the lessons are much harder to learn so we end up getting hurt or hurting others in the process. It has been suggested by many sources that we unconsciously and consciously draw things to us by our thoughts. Often times, we draw negative experiences or negative people to us without even realizing it until the universe starts providing us with signs and signals.
Based on my own experiences, I would urge you to start listening to the nudgings of your higher self and the universe and take the time to review your situation before choosing to ignore the signs. Our higher self has our best interest at heart if we would just take the time to listen. If you are facing a situation that is uncomfortable, don’t let it fester and drive you crazy; instead, choose to address it head on and work towards a viable solution for all parties involved.
If you have a disagreement with a friend, family member or co-worker and are stewing about it, take action and try and view the situation from 10,000 feet. There are always solutions, we just have to be willing to examine all the possibilities and of course, you have to have willing and open participants. You might have heard people ask “will it matter in 5 minutes, 5 days, 5 months or 5 years?”. Most situations will most always render a decision of “no” to all time periods when asked that question.
Take the time needed to resolve your issues, and always be sure to vote for yourself while asking for the highest and best outcome for all involved. No more waiting, wondering, festering and wallowing will be needed. Always remember to vote for YOU, it is your duty to yourself.
