To Betty White, Thank You For Being A Friend…
I don’t know anyone who didn’t absolutely adore Betty White. As a television icon for decades and an animal rights activist for most of her life, she was a very inspirational woman in so many ways. I remember watching The Golden Girls with my grandmother many years ago; we would sit and belly laugh no matter which episode we were watching. Although I had a soft spot in my heart for Sophia who could deliver her lines without missing a beat, there was always something so innocent and sweet about Betty White’s character. Every time I watched, I felt like all of them were my family. There aren’t many shows on tv that you can say that about. I will truly miss Betty White but will always remember those special times with my grandmother and how Betty could deliver a line that left you laughing uncontrollably. The fact that she did it so naturally without flinching or any emotion is what made her such a wonderful and talented actress. Thank you for being a friend Betty, you were a true blessing to all those whose hearts you touched. We will miss you….
