Crystals Can Alter Our Sleep Patterns
After reading the recent article on being diligent in cleaning our crystals, I decided to take action. I got busy and paid some much needed attention to my own stones. I have been attracted to rocks, crystals and gemstones since I was a little girl. On family vacations, we stopped at all the traditional gift shops and truck stops along the way. I was always drawn to the rocks and stones in the gift shops and am proud to say that I have quite a substantial collection from all my adventures. I begged my parents to purchase a rock polishing machine for me and I would spend hours listening to my rocks being tumbled. It was always a joy to see the results of clean, polished stones.
I currently have some very large, rose quartz and selenite pieces that are stunningly beautiful along with a few rather large amethyst crystals. I have always enjoyed them in my bedroom over the years assuming it was a really good place to keep them. Early on, I reserved a special corner of my room for all my meaningful objects to reside. My stones, crystals, incense, photos and other things that have resonated with me over the years are there to comfort me and generate positive energy.
What I didn’t realize however, is that some crystals can alter our sleep patterns by throwing off too much energy. This can often cause sleepless or restless nights for some people who might be more sensitive to the energies of the stones. Since I tend to be a restless sleeper, I decided to read up on this topic more. After doing so, I made the decision to move my larger crystals out of the bedroom and into my living room. I got out my toothbrush and carefully cleaned each facet on all my stones and put them out in the sunlight to further cleanse them thoroughly.
I now have a special place in my living room for my cleared and cleansed crystals. They can now energize my living space freely while allowing the energy in my bedroom to calm down. Over time, this has allowed me deeper and more restful sleep. It’s amazing how one little change can bring about wonderful outcomes if we are willing to listen and learn.
