We are Dr. Tricia Schwartz-Smith and Dr. Tracy J. Smith, a husband and wife team that has been practicing Chiropractic and Acupuncture in Sioux Falls since 2001.
We take our time & listen, and we have over 20 years of clinical experience so it is very likely we have seen problems similar to yours. We’ll take our time and use our knowledge / skill-set to treat these problems & guide you to your desired outcome. With pain management (think typical daily aches, spinal pain, headaches etc) we can easily manage these problems. With acupuncture, we deal with a significant portion of the fertility population in the region, working in conjunction with local specialists. Dr. Tricia is widely recognized for her expertise in this field, helping people increase odds of conception, helping with breached babies, and induction. We also deal with a large portion of chronic pain management patients with acupuncture, working with the local VA. We handle all of these things and many more, the takeaway being we will tailor our therapies to your individual needs and desired outcomes.
Our clinic consists of individual treatment rooms, it is not an open room concept. We believe in privacy and one on one time with our providers. We do not double book our appointment times, your appointment time is reserved for you alone so our wait times are as minimal as possible. We understand the value of your time. We work in conjunction with your medical providers, not against them.
CHIROPRACTIC
Chiropractic care addresses problems with your bones, muscles, and nerves. We use our hands and or tools to gently and comfortably adjust you which restores normal joint and nerve function. We have specialized equipment for those dealing with ruptured discs, utilize many techniques to accommodate every person, and develop CUSTOM plans for each of our patients. We can adjust you manually, or without the traditional ‘pop’ of joints if you wish. We make sure it is the most comfortable experience for you while maintaining effectiveness. We don’t sell prepaid plans or make you sign contracts, we strive to be great providers for our patients and only recommend the services you need. Additionally, chiropractic care is VERY SAFE! We pay more for our car insurance than our malpractice insurance.
ACUPUNCTURE
We have been a local leader in providing acupuncture in Sioux Falls for the past two decades. We receive dozens of referrals every month from existing patients and medical providers because it is very effective and cost efficient. The first question everyone asks is “Does it hurt?” and the answer is “almost never”. The second question is “how does it work”? Simply put, it increases blood flow, reduces pain signaling to the brain, and restores balance to the body.
